Privacy notice (waitlist)

Who we are

TidyTill is operated by Katie Arnold, trading as TidyTill, a sole trader in the UK, who is the data controller for your waitlist details. Contact: hello@tidytill.co.uk.

What we collect

Your email address, the platforms you tick, the date you signed up, and the consent wording you agreed to. Nothing else is required.

Why, and our lawful basis

To email you about the launch (including when paid downloads open) and MTD deadline reminders, based on your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw consent at any time by replying to any email or emailing the address above.

Where it's stored and who sees it

Sign-ups go straight to our own app server, hosted by Fly.io in London, and are stored in its database. Only we can export them. Our emails, including the launch email, are sent through Postmark. This website is hosted by Cloudflare, which also forwards emails sent to our tidytill.co.uk addresses to our Microsoft Outlook mailbox. Some of these providers are based in, or may process data in, the US; where they do, they use legally recognised safeguards (the UK–US Data Bridge or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum). We don't sell or share your details for marketing, and this site uses no cookies or analytics.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or 24 months after the waitlist closes, whichever comes first. (The 24-hour deletion rule for uploaded files doesn't apply to the waitlist, which holds no files.)

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, or for it to be corrected or deleted. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Uploaded files (the app)

The waitlist doesn't collect any financial files. How the TidyTill app handles uploaded exports (stored only on servers in London and deleted within 24 hours) is set out in the app's privacy notice and terms of service.
